Troubleshooting

Occasionally one of the clasps or "knuckles" will become "dislocated".  When this happens, it can be difficult or impossible to extend the pole properly.  You can tell if the knuckle is dislocated if you see indentations below the knuckle.  Simply push it back down over the indentations and the pole should extend properly again.  

Sometimes, the "spade" or "hook" is a little sticky or doesn't slide easy out-of-the-box.  If your Bed Buddi is like that, pinch the "arms" of the lower snap button so that they are more "V" like and less "U" like.  You can do that to the top snap button as well to make it a bit easier to retract the spade.
